Everyone can use a little help when it comes to great design ideas. We recently sent an idea booklet to the digitizers we know. Produced in Germany, this little black book bears the title, Beware of the Mad Dog. Inside, there are windings of 12 “Silver Allstars,” silver threads in a variety of weights and sparkle. Opposite is a stitch-out on a piece of faux leather of a somewhat crazed dog, using some of the threads illustrated. Offering 12 different ways to achieve the color, silver, “Mad Dog” shows there’s always more than one way to skin a cat…metaphorically speaking, of course.
